Privacy Policy

Your privacy

Effective 6 October 2026

This policy explains how Longdusk, the iPad game made by Wilderness Software ("we", "us"), and this website handle your information.

The short version

Longdusk does not collect any personal data. There are no accounts, no advertising, no analytics and no tracking, and we run no servers that the game talks to. What you do in the game stays on your iPad. On the App Store, Longdusk's privacy label reads Data Not Collected. This website sets no cookies and runs no analytics.

What stays on your iPad

To play, Longdusk keeps a small amount of information on your device:

This information never leaves your iPad by any action of ours. It may be included in your iPad's own backups (iCloud or your computer), according to your settings; those are managed by Apple and by you, and we cannot see them. Deleting Longdusk deletes this information.

Purchases

The full expedition is sold through the App Store. Apple processes the payment; we never see your payment details, your name or your Apple Account. To unlock the game, Longdusk asks the App Store on your device whether you own the purchase. Apple's handling of purchases is covered by Apple's own privacy policy.

Apple gives developers aggregated sales reports (for example, how many purchases were made in a country). These reports do not identify you.

App Store analytics

If you have chosen, in your iPad's settings, to share analytics with app developers (Settings ▸ Privacy & Security ▸ Analytics & Improvements), Apple may share crash reports and aggregated usage statistics with us. Apple controls this, and the data it shares does not identify you. You can turn it off at any time in the same place.

Network connections

Longdusk plays fully offline. The only connections it makes are to Apple's App Store services, when you buy, restore or redeem the full expedition.

This website

This website is a set of static pages served by Cloudflare. It uses no cookies, no analytics, no advertising and no embedded content from other sites; even its fonts and images come from this site. To deliver the pages and protect the site from abuse, Cloudflare processes the technical information every web request carries, such as your IP address and browser type, under its own privacy policy. We do not use that information to identify you.

If you email us

If you write to support@longdusk.space, the message is forwarded by Cloudflare Email Routing to the inbox we read, and we receive your email address and whatever you choose to send. We use it only to reply and to fix the problem you report. We do not add you to any mailing list or share your message with anyone. We keep it only as long as we need to help you, and will delete it on request.

Children

Longdusk is suitable for all ages and collects no personal data from anyone, including children. Purchases by children are subject to the Family Sharing and Ask to Buy controls Apple provides.

Your rights

Because Longdusk collects no personal data, we hold nothing about you to access, correct, export or delete, apart from any emails you send us. Whatever data protection law applies where you live (such as the GDPR in Europe, the UK GDPR, the CCPA in California or POPIA in South Africa), you can ask us about or ask us to delete those emails at the address below.

Changes to this policy

If a future version of Longdusk or this website changes what is described here (for example, by adding Game Center achievements), we will update this policy and the date at the top before that change goes live.
